I’ve had several people ask why my album is named Clarity, but I don’t have a song by the same name. Well, the title is actually pulled from the song Mesmerizing’s line “It’s all so clear”. Here’s why…
“Clarity” is a collection of songs written through my biggest learning points in my late teens/ early 20’s. I met some of my favorite people ever, had my heart broken, fell in love, traveled across the globe, and I completely lost myself. I went from the darkest and lowest point in my life to counting my blessings- loving the beautiful things and people in my life and realizing what I have. It’s all become clear to me that life itself is beautiful and is worth living and I wish that everyone hurting can experience this someday and be mesmerized by the beauty around them.
I experienced a new level of clarity that I hadn’t had before. I didn’t have much appreciation for life, simply because I didn’t know myself and I didn’t understand the beauty of life itself and the world around me. I wanted to only focus on the dark, but now I’m mesmerized by the light.
